If the log messages indicate CEF/dCEF failures a:
# show diags | inc (SLOT|Mem)
would also be useful. If your line cards only have 128MB of route memory
you could be running out of space in line card memory for the FIB which
would cause a failure as you described (sudden loss of forwarding on all
cards).

messages which could provide some possible clues..
