A rough guess would be that the 6500 is interpreting the OSPF/EIGRP  
packets when it should not. If you can, enable some OSPF/EIGRP debug  
to see if it shows the customers OSPF/EIGRP packets. If so, there  
might be a bug, if not, we'll have to search further.
