You've got it backwards. All new Cisco switches support 802.1Q trunks.
The 2960 does NOT support ISL, which was the point of my last post. :)

Are we sure the 2960's don't support 802.1Q tagging? I seem to recall
reading its documentation that VLAN trunks can be created from any port
using 802.1q tagging.. I will have to dig that up again...

No problem. It does bring up a good point, though. If you are currently
using ISL trunks to your 2924 switches, you'll need to plan on converting to
802.1Q trunks if you upgrade to a switch that doesn't support ISL.
