At a customer site, I'm using 12.4 mainline on 2811s and while it works
fine as server, the client will break badly (taking the session to the
router along with it) when trying to ssh to an openssh box of a recent,
stable release.
It's unfortunate that still good ol' telnet is the only way to do
management hops in small networks with no separate management planes. It
seems that that is bound to change soon, though. At least, there is ssh 2
now. Better partially broken than nothing.
