Hi,
We have a number of 7204VXR's with NPE-G1 engines running 12.3(14)T3
Enterprise with IPSEC 3DES.
MRTG no longer graphing, a known problem for approx. +110MB/5 Mins.
Don't know version no., sorry :-(.
Have tried the ":::::2" snmp per-target option for those particular
boxes but not getting values back.
Seems we need 64-bit counters for monitoring these GigE ports and SNMP
v2c and above, according to CCO's:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/tech/tk648/tk362/technologies_q_and_a_item091
86a00800b69ac.shtml#QA
I am able to 'walk' 1.3.6.1.2.1.31.1.1.1.x but cannot read .6 and .10,
IfHCInOctets and IfHCOutOctet's or any HC counter to be honest!
According to MIB Locator, above OID's are in IF-MIB which is supported
in all major trains.
IN CCO FAQ referenced above, supported platforms include:
"...Cisco routers 3600, 4000, and higher platforms - as of Cisco IOS
Software 12.0(1), 12.0(1)T CSCdj93712
<http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCdj9371
2> CSCdt58029
<http://www.cisco.com/pcgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCdt5802

Question:
Does anyone monitor GigE interfaces running at over 100Mbps with SNMP
and it work????!!
Maybe someone in Cisco knows?
Thanks,
Mark
