You remember wrong. Sine 12.2(25)SEC or SED cross-switch LACP
has been supported, before that only regular 'dumb' port-channel.
PaGP is not suppored cross-stack, and will not be AFAIK.
It appears Arnold doesn't have new IOS enough.
