Right now we have one 6509-E that has a sup720, 6 WS-X6704-10GEs and one
WS-X6408-GBIC, and it's eating right around 3.3kw right now. The 3kw
power supplies give a little under 2,900 watts of deliverable power to
the switch, so there wasn't enough juice to power up the last two blades
until we upgraded to the 6kw units.

Today:

# sho power
system power redundancy mode = redundant
system power total = 5771.64 Watts (137.42 Amps @ 42V)
system power used = 3305.40 Watts (78.70 Amps @ 42V)
system power available = 2466.24 Watts (58.72 Amps @ 42V)
