SB is successor of 12.2S. 12.2SB is targeted to service providers
generally, while it does add ''broadband'' features, such as unnumbered
VLAN subinterfaces and VPDN in _enterprise_ image. 
Personally I'm very happy with 12.2(28)SB. I have opened least bug
reports on it when comparing with 12.2(14|18|20|25)S.
Also regarding Daniels problem purpose of SB isn't very relevant.
