Instead of doing this:

         int dialer1
           pvc <whatever>
             encapsulation aal5mux ppp dialer
             dialer pool-member 1

do this:

         int dialer1
           pvc <whatever>
             encapsulation aal5snap
             pppoe-client dial-pool-number 1

Well, at least this works in Oz... HTH.
