Generally, the last feature release in a T train is copied and used
to create the next mainline train (no T). From then on, the mainline
trains
generally don't add new features. No new features means few new bugs
(although there are still substantial old bugs which simply haven't been
"identified" yet).
12.4 (mainline) is still quite young, but if you need features
introduced in 12.3T,
you might want to consider the latest 12.4 mainline releases (12.4(7)
or 12.4(5a)).
It looks like they've gone through about 10 bugfix only releases since
the 12.3T->12.4 conversion.
That said, I don't run it in house. I'd personally be much more
comfortable with
the latest 12.3 mainline (12.3(17a)). But that only has features
introduced in 12.2T.
