On some older gear I've lost serial console access randomly while
maintaining ip access. Another favorite is 100pps of ICMP to a management IP
causing boxes to die. Blackdiamonds seem to be particularly "special" while
the Summit switches seem to be more stout.

I've got a Summit1i that worked perfectly (L2 only) for at least a year and
a half with no upsets, so its not all bad heh.
