my config is

interface Vlan3
  description client's net
  ...
  ip pim sparse-mode
end

interface Vlan999
  description Transport ring
   ....
  ip pim sparse-mode
end

  if I turn off pim on interface vlan3 users in client's net lost ability to watch ipTV.
