Does your MetroE provider support QinQ? You could use a simple layer 3
switch if so.

Subject: [c-nsp] Recommended hardware for Voice VLANs over multiple
sites

All,

Can anyone recommend what hardware/IOS would be required to support the
following network topology? (Assume /24 subnets)

                            4Mbps --------
                           --------|Site 2|
             Data VLAN 1 / --------
              10.10.10.1/ 10.10.10.2 - Data VLAN 1
                -------- 10.10.30.2 - Voice VLAN
   -------------|Site 1| Backup VoIP Server
      | --------
      | Data VLAN 2\
      | 10.10.20.1 \ --------
      | ---------|Site 3|
  10.10.3.1 4Mbps --------
  Voice VLAN 10.10.20.2 - Data VLAN 2
VoIP Server 10.10.30.3 - Voice VLAN
                                                  IP Phone

We are looking at implementing VoIP over three sites connected by Metro
Ethernet. The VoIP vendor (not Cisco) supports redundancy, but requires
the
two VoIP servers to be within the same L2 broadcast domain. Can
something
like 2811's (with IP-Base) at each site with QoS to provision 1 Mbps on
each
WAN link for the Voice VLAN over the top of the existing data network?

Cheers,

Ben.
