And *useful* subinterface support was first added in SRA. In earlier code,
you were stuck choosing between switchport mode to do L2 bridging on a
trunk vlan, and subinterface mode to do AToM. You could do IP termination
on either, but you couldn't successfully do a L2 vlan 101 and an AToM
endpoint vlan 102 on the same trunk.
