We have a pair off 3550 -12gs (12.(20) ea1) acting as default gateways to
the servers on our server farm,
For one server (win 2003), using the real address of either of the two
gateway 3550s works fine, with around 50Mb (at the user end) throughput
during file transfers to end users on 100Mb segments.
If the HSRP address is set as the the default gateway on the server however
we cannot get more than 2-3Mb/sec
Between servers within the gig farm all is fine at 800mb/s.
All other servers are using the HSRP address with no problems.
