It will allow 3rd party SFPs.

Subject: [c-nsp] non-Cisco 1000BaseTX SFP

Hello

Did anyone tried to use non-Cisco 1000BaseTX SFP with Catalyst 3560G or
Catalyst 6500E/SUP32. I've just bought AT-SPTX (Allied Telesyn) but it
doesn't working at Catalyst 3560G + 'service unsupported-transceiver'.
The link is always down - I tried to connect second Catalyst 3560G or my
computer (Intel GigE card) but always without success. So summaring I'd
like to know if anyone have success with non-Cisco 1000BaseTX SFP on
Catalyst switches ?

Thanks,
Robert
