Seeing a large number of drops on a switchport interface without any obvious
reason (no errors, buffer misses, CPU load etc):

Router#sh int fa2/2
FastEthernet2/2 is up, line protocol is up (connected)
  Hardware is C6k 100Mb 802.3, address is 0004.de84.1431 (bia 0004.de84.1431
)

     reliability 255/255, txload 1/255, rxload 1/255
  Encapsulation ARPA, loopback not set
  Keepalive set (10 sec)
  Full-duplex, 100Mb/s
  input flow-control is off, output flow-control is unsupported
  ARP type: ARPA, ARP Timeout 04:00:00
  Last input never, output 18w2d, output hang never
  Last clearing of "show interface" counters never

drops: 0
  Queueing strategy: fifo

  5 minute input rate 128000 bits/sec, 113 packets/sec
  5 minute output rate 2000 bits/sec, 2 packets/sec

Any idea's what else to look for?

Matt.
