we have a 1760 currently running c1700-k9sv8y7-mz.122-15.T17.bin with
sip enabled. so the recent advisory makes me consider upgrading. but
the recommended release, c1700-k9o3sv8y7-mz.123-23.bin, says 96mb of ram
and 32mb of flash and while the puppy seems to have the ram, it only has
16mb of flash

cisco 1760 (MPC860P) processor (revision 0x200) with 86222K/12082K bytes
of memory.
Processor board ID VMS05500QEE (2790806760), with hardware revision 0000
MPC860P processor: part number 5, mask 2
Bridging software.
X.25 software, Version 3.0.0.
1 FastEthernet/IEEE 802.3 interface(s)
2 Voice FXO interface(s)
32K bytes of non-volatile configuration memory.
16384K bytes of processor board System flash (Read/Write)

do i upgrade the flash or is there an image that does sip, fxo, and ssh
that'll fit?
