Hi list,
from the Q&A:
"Q. Will the Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series Switches forward traffic at wire
rate for all frame sizes at Layer 2 and Layer 3?
A. These switches will forward traffic at wire rate for all frame sizes
on all ports, except for Cisco Catalyst 3750G-24TS, 3750G-24TS-1U,
3750G-48TS, 3750G-24PS and 3750G-48PS with 64-byte and 128-byte packets."
Does this imply that the 3750G-12S
switches frames at wire speed?
Could anyone share some real world
experiences about the 3750G-12S
layer 2 capacities? Are those able
to sport a full duplex 1 GBps per
port (minus ethernet overhead) or
did they oversubscribe the backplane?
Many thanks,
sven03
