Ehehe yeah renumbering is not an option .. :)
Currently, I have 6509 on both ends with SUP2-MSFC2.
Both are currently having OSPF over a "a-half-metro-ethernet" (that does not
carry over vlan tag).
Isnt L2TPv3 only supported in 12.3x IOS?
The current version that I have in that sup2 is 12.2.
Cisco is not releasing any 12.3 for sup2, is it?
>> do you want to join 2 L2 domains together?
Yeahh, Siva. I want to join 2 L2 domains together. :(
Thank you.

The Right Thing To Do is to renumber the machines into multiple subnets.
But I understand why that's difficult sometimes. :)

Many ways of skinning that cat.
What kind of gear are you talking about? I'd probably lean toward L2TPv3
(most hardware support), then EoMPLS (you need MPLS connectivity between
the sites), then lastly Ethernet over GRE (unsupported).
