They are not "confusing" but totally braindead.
Whoever designed the RPS series for the smaller switches has smoked some
seriously bad weed.
Even vendors like Dell can get this right (the Dell RPS is really cool -
power 4 switches simultaneously, fall back and forward depending on
"wherever power is", without any manual interaction, etc.).
