Maximum # of Characters for the VLAN Name in Cisco VLAN DB in native IOS?

Ex:
Config t
Vlan 100
Name [tex_string]

But when we look at the table from the following page:

in only shows SIP-501 and SIP-601, 8X1FE is not in the
table either. I'm pretty sure the hardware we are
proposing should be supported but would like to
double-check.
