I looked into this about 6 months ago using a 7600 platform doing
EoMPLS services.
If you are looking to load balance from PE to P (or P to P) the PFC3C
(newest) platform will
inspect the IP layer inside the MPLS packet and load balance across
equal cost links. Or
for Non-IP traffic it will use a stack of MPLS labels to create a
hash to load balance across
links.
