[c-nsp] Cannot boot 6506 off disk0:

Here are my ideas when I have had this problem in the past:

I have seen this issue when the flash can not be read by the RP, but can be read
via the SP. When you are in ROMMON you are using the SP which will have no
problem reading the code into memory, but when the RP takes over it can not read
the flash. I have also seen it where you can read and write to a flash disk
with in the RP but you can not read from it when it boots (go figure).
Formatting the flash does the trick ( I assume you have already done this..
again as stated below)

I think when you just say boot disk0: the system looks for the 1st image on the
system and will boot to that. I am assuming there are not any types in the image
name -> boot var (just checking - I am sure you have looked at this...)

There is only one image on this disk right?

I believe to format the disk you should from the RP and just a format disk0 does
the job. When the system drops to rommon what does the system say for not being
able to load the code (ie., can't find image...)

Since the system will boot to the RP but manually, I would believe it's not an
issue with the disk and hw/sw revisions.

Just my 2c.
