I also have never tried it but there are 'supported' Cisco flash devices and I believe you can also store keys on an Aladdin eToken. I have yet to use either feature though I would be interested if anyone has.

Never tried it, but I asked that question at Networkers last year and was
told you could transfer IOS images etc. from flash drives/portable devices
onto the router if you happened to be physically near it.....
