A few questions:
1. How will you get traffic to and from this router?
2. What routing protocols will it speak?
3. What other services/features are needed (ACLs, IPSEC, Netflow, QOS, 
VOIP, etc?)
4. What are your support expectations if you run into problems?
5. What are your expectations for redundant power?

Your answers to these questions will determine in large part what kind of 
router you need.
