Does anyone know if the ERSPAN feature is coming to any other product
lines or if it's going to remain (65|76)00 only?

As addition to ERSPAN info you've received from list you might want to
check these out:

http://cisco.cluepon.net/index.php/ERSPAN_to_PCAP_script
 - python script to listen for ERSPAN packets and dump
   them as pcap

http://ip.fi/hacks/README-pcapop.txt
http://ip.fi/hacks/pcapop
 - ruby script to pop X amount of bytes from pcap
file. Per default pops ERSPAN headers.

python version makes more sense, if you're starting your debug session
now. ruby version makes more sense if you already are in possession of
pcap capture of ERSPAN and want to have something useful to look at in
eg. wireshark.
