Thanks... We already run netflow and collect data .....

Everything we have today is open source.... But none of it talks to one
another.... Running into scalability issues....

In terms of traffic utilization and heuristics, enable NetFlow, collect it
with nfdump, and graph it with nfsen.  NetFlow gives extremely useful
visibility into your traffic for billing, troubleshooting, capacity
planning, traffic engineering, and security.  There are good commercial
apps, too, but start with open source - great cost/benefit ratio, and you'll
learn a lot, too.
