You might look at some of the old Livingston portmaster gear.  Something 
like a PM2E10 which is a bit of over kill but they were rock solid boxes.  I 
had pops at the time with their 30 port version that had 2+ year uptimes. 
They can be had on Ebay at times for only a few bucks.
