DMVPN will work fine with OSPF - I've had decent
success with it.  The scaling issue you'll encounter
is that a single DMVPN should be treated like a single
broadcast domain, and you'll get into "number of
routers in a single area" limits.  Make sure that the
crypto you're using is hardware-based.

I've personally used it up to about 60 sites.
