YES finally got it to work.
I dun know why but I have to use policy-list instead of just doing a
"match ip address"
The IOS version that i used 12.2(18)SXD7b

route-map twtc-out, permit, sequence 10
  Match clauses:
    IP Policy lists:
        hostgroupA
  Set clauses:
    ip default next-hop x.x.x.1
Policy routing matches: 3993108 packets, 2753517571 bytes
route-map twtc-out, permit, sequence 20
  Match clauses:
  Set clauses:
Policy routing matches: 1569316399 packets, 970670615 bytes

Thanks all for the inputs.

Regards,
Rudy
