[c-nsp] Performance impact of WCCP on various platforms

I''m planning on setting up WCCP to transparently redirect outbound web 
traffic to a Blue Coat proxy sitting behind a 100Mb/s Internet 
connection (peak utilization around 40Mb/s).  I have the option of 
implementing it on a Cat 4500 or on an ASA 5520.  Can anyone comment on 
the potential performance impact/limitations of WCCP on either platform 
and/or suggest an alternate solution?
