Hi,
the 1721 comes with a 10/100 Ethernet port integrated onboard plus 2 WIC slots:

The 1721 is 802.1Q-capable (VLANs) and can do sub-interfaces on the integrated port.
Depending on the requirements and the budget, you might get some additional ethernet
interfaces, ie. WIC-1ENET or WIC-4ESW:
