Garry,
You may take a look at support for MPLS over GRE...

Subject: [c-nsp] Encapsulating MPLS for transport over Internet?
Hi,
I'm currently working on some redundancy plans for a customer hookup ...
currently, they are exclusively in our backbone infrastructure, where we
have no problem delivering MPLS connections. The plan is getting a
second uplink via another provider, with full BGP etc. ... I'm now
looking in to a way of transporting MPLS VRF information/routing to them
via the external link in case the primary link dies ... I could probably
just set up a GRE tunnel between our border router and theirs, do a "ip
vrf forwarding MPLSVRF" on the tunnel interface, and run BGP over that
link, also, with lower priority ... should work I reckon, but is there a
better way?
Tnx, -garry
