If your PVC's are in large contiguous blocks with comment class/ 
configuration or if you're doing a lot of dynamic policies on VC's out  
of RADIUS you can look at configuring your PVC's in "bulk" using the  
"range pvc" directive.   ie: Under yout ATM interface:

  range DSL_SUBS1 pvc 2/100 2/999
   ubr 1500
  !


and for an exception in-range, if you have to:

   pvc-in-range 2/203
    oam-pvc manage



If you have thousands of PVC's in groups, this could save your  
configuration from being 1000's of lines long.  Also makes it easier  
when you actually have to scroll through your running config! ;-)
