Ayup!
As long as you don't come across weird bugs where the USB disk format
upsets IOS and you get weird IO issues. I have vague memories of Cisco
letting you format a USB flash device with their sense of "FAT" which
I then copied stuff onto via Windows/Linux/FreeBSD/MacOSX without
issue.
