[c-nsp] ME 3400; REP question

Hi all,
 
Does someone know if it is possible to configure REP on an switch ring
network, where REP is handling a specific VLAN range (for protecting
against layer 2 loops). On the same link where REP is active I would
like to use a specific vlan range which REP DOESN'T touch, where I can
use those Vlan's for routing purpose (just like a spanning tree
scenario)?
