While you mentioned that: I just remember that I already had the problem 
twice.... and once it
really was on a 3640 *GGG* It wasn't because of the amount of DRAM, but 
something else.
That day I learned that if a router doesn't have an onboard interface, 
you have to do it via the
console. This takes some time, and it even takes longer if while 
downloading, your notebooks
goes into standy-mode and you can start again ;-)
