[c-nsp] spanning-tree question

Hi All,

I've setup four switches for failover running PVST+.  All the links between
switches are trunks and several VLAN exist on all switches.  Spanning-tree
is blocking ports predictably and it's working, but since then I am getting
a high amount of unidirectional discards on the ports spanning-tree is
blocking.  Is this by design or do I have some additional configuration to
do.  As far as I've read, spanning-tree blocked ports discard frames but I
would think the switches in the segment wouldn't send frame in the path
that's not blocked.
