[c-nsp] Catalyst 2950G, weired problem

Hi all,

I have a two switches C2950G and C2924XL connected via canopy backhaul 
in trunk ports running fine for several months.Suddenly due to some 
reason I have to shut the link. But, I noticed that even the switch port 
is administratively shutdown at C2950G end, it is still 
sending/receiving traffic and learning mac..even after several attempt 
no shut n' shut and clearing mac address tables...thus created problem 
in my network. Finally I had to shut the interface at C2924XL and then 
everything came back to normal. Since the switch was located at remote 
site I was not able to see the actual status of the led of the switch port.
