The problem is not what type of traffic it is, but rather that it's not showing up in the input/output *rate* counters. For instance, if I send huge ping packets across the link, which generates at least 2M worth of traffic, the input/output rate counters are still at 0. Removing the VLANs isn't going to do anything for me, unfortunately.
