[c-nsp] GSR or 7600 as a Border Router?

like Roland said you need to look a bit deeper at the functionality and
features you will need
i use XR 124xx as core and peering routers and 7609-s as aggregate routers
in some locations
in others we use 7609-s as core/peering routers
