I've always solved the problem by keeping all the routing/switching gear
in its own section and rotating their racks 90 degrees. With all the odd
airflow patterns in various network gear (front to back, back to front,
left to right, right to left, fanless) it's just easier than buying
fancy rack fans or making elaborate baffles, assuming you have the floor
space.
