I had a similar issue many moons ago with Macs plugged into 3750 switches - they had intermittent issues reaching some network resources. The NIC driver was having a cow about the trunk negotiate packets coming from the switch. Try doing a "switchport nonegotiate" on the port and see if that fixes it. B.
