You can also get it via SNMP.
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.3.6.3.0 = Chassis ID (defaults to the serial number of
the chassis unless you've configured the 'snmp-server chassis-id <text>'
command.

sh inventory will do it
sh snmp will also give you the chassis serial
