Well, quoting from

for the particular npe-300, it went eos dec 31 2001, and eol dec 31
2006. software supports ends in: 12.2(15)T, 12.0(29)S, 12.1(19)E, and
12.3(10b)."

Running 12.4 on this processor is quite ambitious, due to your RAM
constraints for the features you need, you will be limited to
old versions which in turn will harbour many bugs (just searching
for AToM related bugs in your version reveals nine alone)
