Seems you have (had?) some trouble either :

- with a faulty cable
- with a faulty nic

If you have setup flow control, try to switch it off for a couple of  
time...

If you still have counter on "no buffer" then you have a problem...  
(switch problem ?), but if you have no error at all but still packet  
loss on the specified machine, then you should check the machine  
itself :

- enougth cpu power ?
- raise tcp / udp buffer ?
- add ram
- stop some application...
- change the nic (use intel one, instead of realtek, broadcom, ....)
- change OS... (this only if you handle looooooots of small packets...)
