AFAIK, 2x FC is 2.125 GBps (~200MB/s), we were quoting 4x FC as a
comparison - 4.25GBps / ~400 MB/s.

The 10GbE solution is a lot faster and at the time cost less than us
deploying 4x FC. This was also a year ago. 4x FC was our top capability
with Bladecenter H at the time.

do not hear of much use of Infiniband. I believe at the 2X rate (i.e.
10Gbs) it is cheaper than 10GbE. Did you consider using it when embarking
upon your approach? _______________________________________________
