If I had to guess, you probably upgraded the IOS code, and didn't upgrade the bootloader?
On a 7200-series chassis, you need to upgrade both the IOS and the Bootloader when you change versions.
Grab the same bootloader version as the IOS and put that on, then change the bootloader statement to reflect the new version.
