probably you could solve it by placing one pool for your local stuff, and doing some nasty dhcp proxying / agent stuff for your other requirement

Subject: [c-nsp] ip helper and dhcp on the same device

Hi all!

I have a question.

Is it possible to use ip dhcp pool XY for one host( use mac address) and
ip helper-address for the others (all pc is in the same subnet).

the scenario is here:

                                           ________onePcWithKnownMAC
                                          |
[ROUTER]_____________[SW]_______otherPCs
|
|__________________[DHCP SERVER for the others]

- one dhcp server on the router for just one pc and
- one dhcp server for the others

Is it possible?

another question:

I set the ip helper address, and the ip on 2 interface, and my C 2611
dosen't send the request packet from in interface to the out interface.
(checked by in acc list log and out acc list log)
Why? What is the problem?

Thank you for help me!
Best regards
Gabor
